
Parking Services at Western Michigan University
Summer II Registration Information - Begins June 25, 2009
Parking permits may be obtained at the Parking Services Building, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- All student parking permits, with the exception of temporary permits, are billed to the student’s WMU account.
- All open tickets must be paid before permits can be obtained.
- A WMU Bronco ID, driver’s license, and a current vehicle registration certificate are needed to complete the vehicle registration process.
- Students living in the university apartments (B, E, H) must produce a valid lease to obtain a parking permit.
- Students and staff who have a valid state issued handicap permit are also required to have a current WMU permit to park on campus.
- Only vehicles with valid B and E permits are allowed to park at all times in those designated WMU apartment lots (B and E).
- Part time faculty, temporary employees, graduate assistants and new employees must bring a Bronco ID card, driver’s license, vehicle registration and the departmental appointment letter to obtain a parking permit.
Fall 2009 Registration Information
Parking Services will begin issuing 2009-2010 permits anytime after August 3, 2009.
We will be selling permits at the following locations and times.
Fall 2009 One-Stop Shop in the North Ballroom in the Bernhard Center:
- August 31 - September 3 (M-Th) 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- September 4 (Fri) 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- September 7 (Labor Day) CLOSED
- September 8 - September 10 (T-Th) 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- September 11 (Fri) 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Lawson Ice Arena:
- September 14 - September 17 (M-Th) 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- September 18 (Fri) 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
We are also open at Parking Services during our normal hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Unless you need a temporary permit, please purchase permits at either One-Stop or Lawson during the above times. This will help minimize the waiting times.
